I raised $13m in US venture capital for Motion Simulation Ltd, and have stress-tested financial models under the scrutiny of US investors. I know what investors look for, what kills a deal, and when raising is the wrong answer. Lived experience, not theory.
Operations & Scaling
The unglamorous work that decides whether you make it. Moving from low to high volume, getting manufacturing right, fixing the bits of the business that break under growth — supply chain, systems, hiring, cash flow, packaging. I've done all of this in practice, not just on paper. This is where most founders need help and where most consultants can't really help, because they've never run a P&L through a bad month.

Where is the business actually going, and what's the shortest route to get there? That means looking honestly at the numbers — turnover is vanity, profit is sanity — and being clear about which markets, products and customers are actually worth the effort. I've built businesses from a standing start, scaled them through multiple stages, and made the calls that decide whether you make it or stall. Honest answers, not a 40-slide deck.
